As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, it is important that all students and families review and become familiar with the DDTwo Parent/Student Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Discipline Matrix. These documents outline the expectations for student behavior both on and off campus, as well as the consequences for infractions.

The standards of conduct apply to all DDTwo students—whether on any school property, on school buses, or attending district- or school-sponsored events, such as field trips, athletic competitions, concerts, or club activities, regardless of location. The summary of regulations included in the DDTwo Parent/Student Handbook is based on School Board Policies, that are available online or at your student’s school. Please note that these policies may be updated during the school year. In such cases, the updated Parent/Student Handbook posted on the district website will reflect those changes. The School Board Policies will supersede any summary of regulations included in the handbook.

We encourage parents and guardians to talk with your student(s) about the importance of responsible behavior and following the Code of Conduct and Board policies. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action outlined in the Discipline Matrix.

Possible disciplinary actions include, but are not limited to:

• Detention
• Behavior Intervention Room (BIR)/In-School Suspension
• Withholding of Privileges
• Disciplinary Probation
• Suspension
• Alternative School Placement
• Expulsion

We invite families to attend Board of Trustees meetings and share feedback on the issues that matter most to you and your family. Your voice, feedback, and involvement are invaluable as we work together to support every student's growth and success.
