   1. Student Achievement: Mrs. Bates explained the interventions used at WRES to meet student needs and how Title supports these programs.
   2. Staff Development: Mrs. Bates explained how she trains staff on reading and math programs and how Title funds support these efforts.
   3. Parent Involvement: Mr. Bates explained upcoming monthly sessions designed to support family engagement in student learning.
5. Read to Succeed (Mrs. Bates)
   1. Mrs. Bates explained the Read to Succeed initiative, including the Third Grade Retention Law and Good Cause Exemptions (GCEs).

   1. Mrs. Shelley explained the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system and its current use by students.

   2. Growth was only on math last year. This year, growth will be based on reading and not math due to new math standards.
   3. Climate was 9.2 out of 10, which we are proud of again this year.
   4. We celebrated with students and teachers with treats after we found out the rating.

      1. 4th grade ELA had 86% Meet or Exceeds on SC Ready.
      2. Last year’s growth was only math. This year, ELA will be the only growth indicator since the math standards are new statewide.
      3. 13 ML students exited the program in March 2025.
      4. WRES has the lowest discipline referrals in DD2.
         1. Currently, there are 104 referrals. The goal is to remain lower than last year’s total of 215 referrals. Bus referrals are not included.
      5. ROCK and ROLL will be changed to Work Hard and Be Kind starting next year.

3. PBIS (Mrs. Shelley)

   1. Second Quarter Event will be the Talent Show on Friday, January 16th during the school day.
