Welcome!
• Introduction to the PTA
How does PTA support the school?
• Marlin mall, PBIS, Popcorn Spirit days, Fun Run, Fall Carnival, Sweetheart Dance, teacher grants, etc
Membership Update- currently 272 members
• Recent Fund Allocations
• Shirts for Steel Drums members
• Marlin Mall items
• Basketball Goals- earmarked from Fun Run profits
Fundraisers
• Popsicles on the Playground- 2 weeks left, has been very successful and students love it!
• Birthday Grams- will take orders all year
• Nothing Bundt Cake- almost $1400 profit
Communication
• Will continue to send out emails and post on facebook.
• Will eventually be able to send through Parent Square
Spirit Wear
• PTA will open up an order soon for tie dye shirts, hoodies, bows, hats, etc. Having difficulty with vendors.
Fall Carnival
• 10/10 5-7pm
• we will need volunteers setting up and breaking down
Holiday Shop
• We will be doing it ourselves this year, as opposed to Penguin Patch that we have used previously
• Will be better quality items and price points
