Welcome to Reeves' Counseling Page!

Our school counseling program is here to support every child’s academic, social, emotional, and personal development. Throughout the year we will teach classroom lessons, lead small groups, and meet with students individually to help them build confidence, solve problems, manage emotions, and develop positive relationships.

We believe that every student can succeed, and we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where all students feel seen, supported, and valued.

October- Empathy

Our school counseling classroom lessons will focus on empathy this month! Students will learn what it means to understand and care about how others may be feeling. Through stories, discussions, activities, and age-appropriate scenarios, students will practice recognizing feelings, seeing situations from another person’s perspective, and responding with kindness. 

Our goal is to help students build strong relationships, show kindness to others, and create a caring school community. 💙

Family Engagement: Growing Empathy at Home

Families can help strengthen these skills at home by talking about feelings and encouraging children to consider how others might feel in different situations.

Look for everyday opportunities to practice empathy—while reading a book, watching a show, talking about an experience at school, or helping someone in your community. Small conversations can make a big difference in helping children become caring, thoughtful, and compassionate individuals. 💙
