May:

As we wrap up another exciting and productive school year at WRES, we want to inform you that formal classroom guidance lessons will not be held during the month of May. This is due to the increased focus on state testing, end-of-year celebrations, and school-wide activities. During this time, the school counseling department will continue to support students through individual and small-group sessions as needed.

We are incredibly grateful for the partnership we've shared with you throughout the year. Your involvement and encouragement have played a vital role in your child’s growth and success—both academically and personally. It has been a pleasure working with each and every student as they’ve developed their social-emotional, academic, and career-readiness skills throughout the year.

As we head into the summer months, we encourage families to continue fostering positive conversations at home, engage in fun and enriching activities, and take time to rest and recharge.

Thank you for supporting WRES, your students, and the work of our school counseling team. We wish you a safe, healthy, and enjoyable summer break. We look forward to reconnecting with you in the new school year!
